Mojo missing again

Well, the stitching mojo is missing again. A few months ago, my father was diagnosed with Stage 4 Mesothelioma.  He is doing chemotherapy and was given a year with that treatment - 4 months without. Needless to say my family and I were devastated. I know that none of us know how long we have but a man who is in perfect health otherwise at 73 should be allowed to think he has more time than this. My father is a very strong man and he has a positive attitude which will help him deal with this but there are still hard days ahead.

I guess around the time my father was diagnosed my stitching mojo went south. I wanted to stich but couldn't bring myself to bring it out to work on.  I love stitching and I have many projects that I want to get done but the desire fades so quickly. I know we all have times where stitching takes a backseat to life, jobs, family and what not but this has been so different. I have had the weekend off and had so much time to stitch and not a stitch has been done. I hope the mojo finds its way back because stitching does help me relax and what not.

I hope you all have been stitching up a storm and here's hoping to a return of the mojo.

Happy Stitching!

Trina I'm sorry to hear about your dad. It's good he has a positive attitude though. Sometimes that helps more than medicine. I'm sending you good thoughts and hugs. Keep your chin up :)

So sorry your dad has a long road to travel. Maybe stitch something that will give him a smile.

I am so sorry about your dad. Sometimes, the mojo just isn't there. Take it easy on yourself, just look at your patterns, sort floss, even just look at some of your finished work, it will come back eventually...

But take care of you. Hugs,

Cat
