Little House Needleworks

I thought I would post this pattern that I have done in the Little House Needlework - Hometown Holiday series.  It was cute to stitch and I have the next one ready to go!

A New Year and New Challenges

I know that everyone makes New Year's resolutions and sometimes they succeed and sometimes they don't.  I was almost going to make some of my own but then I decided to make a list of things that I know I can tackle and work at them one by one.  I know that things are never settled overnight and that with determination and perseverance - you can accomplish almost anything.  Here's hoping that will be true.

I am also trying to sell off some of my cross-stitch patterns and kits on a group I formed on Facebook:  Cross-stitch for Sale.  Let's face it - I have more than enough projects to last me several lifetimes and I hope that I can get rid of some of the extras and bring joy to someone else who loves the hobby just like I do.

Here's to making things happen for the better this year and I know that taking things one day at a time makes it easier to handle as well!

Happy New Year and Happy Stitching!

Tis the Season!!

Well, here we are - 10 days until Christmas!!  It seems to almost sneak up on me every year.  I am almost done Christmas shopping but my heart hasn't been totally in it.  It seems to become so commercial and it is hard to try and get excited when buying presents.  This always seems to pass but it always seems to happen every time.  Oh well, at least it passes.  I have been getting more excitied about having time off over the Christmas season and being able to spend time with family and good friends.

I haven't done a whole lot of stitching these last few weeks but last night the mojo seems to have returned.  Funny how that can happen huh.  I have so many small projects that I want to do over the next year that I am trying to get things underway.  Stitch on I will.

I wish everyone out there a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year and I hope that everyone enjoys time with loved ones and celebrating the holiday season!

Merry Christmas and Happy Stitching!

November's Ornament!!!

The eyes have been done but here is the third ornament in the Little House Needleworks - Hometown Holidays series that I decided to do for November!  It was a nice stitch and I have to decide what to stitch for December!

Happy Stitching!

Hermit Weekend

Well, I actually stitched this Hermit weekend and although I don't have a before picture - I do have an after picture.  I finished the second piece in the Hometown Holidays Series and I love how it turned out.  Now I just have to find threads for the third one but in the meantime I am going to go back to some mini stocking patterns that I have worked on earlier this year.

Have a good week and Happy Stitching!
